Noel Mweta graduated from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, in 2024 with a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology. He earlier earned Master of Arts in Philosophy (2018) and Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Malawi (2010). He is the current head of Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices Department under the Bingu School of Culture and Heritage. 

 

Before joining MUST, he worked as a Staff Associate at University of Malawi under the department of Philosophy. His research interests include African Philosophy, Ethics and morality, Indigenous Knowledge and Development, and Rural Development. 

 

He has published articles in peer reviewed journals, peer reviewed book chapters, and research reports.
