A group of 12 brilliant female students from MUST are spending this week at Standard Bank's offices in Lilongwe, prototyping innovative solutions they presented during a hackathon in July.
This opportunity follows their exceptional performance in the Stabdard Bank sponsored hackathon challenge, where they showcased exceptional problem-solving skills and creativity.
The students, operating under the MUST Technology and Innovation Garage, had the privilege of meeting Standard Bank's Chief Executive Officer Phillip Madinga.
The technology and innovation garage, run by the MUST Institute for Industrial Research and Innovation (MIIRI), provides a platform for students, staff, industry players, and community members to incubate and commercialize innovative ideas with potential impact.
The hackathon, aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among young women, challenged participants to develop solutions addressing real-world problems.
The MUST students excelled, demonstrating exceptional talent and potential.
