ADDA enrols new CDDT II cohort

he African Drone and Data Academy (ADDA) at MUST on January 19, 2026 conducted an orientation session for students under the Certificate in Drone and Data Technology II (CDDT2) at the university's Thyolo campus.
The orientation aimed to welcome the students, help them get to know one another and the ADDA team, and familiarize them with the learning environment at MUST. 
Students were also introduced to the programme structure, expectations, and facilities they will use during their training.
A total of 48 students have started the programme which will run for three weeks and will undergo intensive, hands-on training in drone operations and data technologies. 
The course emphasizes practical skills designed to prepare learners for real-world applications of drone and data solutions across various sectors.
ADDA remains committed to building Africa’s capacity in drone and data technology through high-quality training and innovation.
