Program Description

The MSc in One Health is a unique interdisciplinary programme that recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. 

This programme addresses the complex relationships between ecosystems, humans, and animals, and the impact of these interactions on health and disease.

Upon completion of the programme, students will be able to:

        - Apply a One Health approach to problem-solving

        - Understand the origin, context, and drivers of infectious disease

        - Evaluate the impacts of multi-host infections on human, animal, and ecosystem      health

        - Develop a One Health systems approach to complex disease issues

        - Critically review published literature and design a research project   

Structure of the program

The MSc in One Health is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of One Health, including:

- The socio-ecological context of disease

- Global health and food safety

- One Health methodologies and transdisciplinary interactions

- Systems approaches to disease management
