Stakeholders in the Skills for a Vibrant Economy (SAVE) project at MUST today held a meeting to gauge progress of the construction works of a 500-seater lecture theatre building.
The meeting, coming a few months before deadline of the World Bank and Government of Malawi funded SAVE project, was attended by MUST as client, project consultant supervisors and the contractor, DEC Construction Limited.
At the end of the meeting, the members agreed on timelines and schedules to ensure speedy work in line with the deadline.
The meeting also agreed on periodic meetings for stakeholders to evaluate progress and effect remedial measures.
Under the SAVE project, MUST also implemented a number of staff capacity building, curriculum development and safeguarding issues to make the university better.
